Director of Finance
An entrepreneurial, rapidly growing and financially strong national Accountable Care Organization (ACO) has retained The Synergy Organization to recruit an experienced financial leader as their new Director of Finance. Located in Central New Jersey, this for-profit organization seeks an experienced, hands-on leader to provide leadership and oversight for all of their finance, accounting and computer data functions.
The new Director of Finance will: implement more effective and efficient processes and systems; collaborate and advise their fellow senior team members; work with the outside auditors on the quarterly audits; work with the external accountants to file taxes; prepare financial statements and reports; and, present financial information to the Board of Directors. This position is responsible for invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, administration of human resources, securing lines of credit and insurance renewals.
The successful candidate must be a proven generalist, have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters Degree is preferred), 7-10 years of related experience, and a strong demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service and process improvement. Candidates must have expert computer software skills using the following software packages: QuickBooks, Visual Basics, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SQL and Sequel Server Management Studio. The successful candidate must also have knowledge of healthcare accounting, estimation-based accounting and healthcare benefits accounting.
