nationwide search for the position of Vice President, Chief Nursing

The Director of Nursing will report directly to the hospital’s Chief
Executive Officer and is responsible for: 1) Ensuring optimal quality
patient care through the implementation of current national research
findings and recognized professional practice in care standards. 2)
Provide leadership, direction and administration of patient care
services, service line programs and departments and overall operations
in order to reach organizational objectives. 3) Develop and maintain
strategic initiatives including the evaluation, monitoring and
improvement of patient care consistent with regulatory bodies. 4) The
development and ongoing coordination of staff administrative records and
reports for patient care.
The successful candidate will possess the following credentials:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Master’s Level Degree are
required (MSN preferred); a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated
leadership experience in an advanced nursing leadership role; and, a
thorough knowledge of current leadership management and quality
improvement concepts, best practices and local/federal regulations.

customers and Dynamic Leadership Skills. Knowledge of
federal/state/local regulations and strong organizational and talent
development skills are also critical in this position. This experienced
