The Synergy Organization has been retained by an innovative,
profitable and financially strong Southern California Medical Center to recruit
an Administrator to lead their Comprehensive Care Center (CCC). This facility is
located on the Coast, in lovely Santa Barbara County. The Medical Center was
established in the 1940’s and was California’s first healthcare district. A
brand new, state-of-the-art, 66-bed hospital is in the final stages of
completion and will open mid-year. The Comprehensive Care Center serves 110
residents over the age of 65. Most Geriatric resident’s needs are met at the
Center with the exception of ventilator dependent or residents with a
psychiatric diagnosis. The CCC provides long-term care in a home-like setting
with caring and compassionate, licensed nurses on duty twenty-four hour a day.
The CCC Vision is to be a leader in the long-term care
industry, assisting its residents to attain or maintain their highest practical
level of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Located just 7 miles from
the ocean, the Medical Center and Comprehensive Care Center are nestled in an
area known as the "Gateway to the Santa Rita Hills Wine Country". With

As a key member of the CCC Leadership Team, this position will
report directly to the CEO of the Medical Center. With well-honed team-building,
collaboration and communications skills, the Administrator will serve as the
catalyst to bring about the change necessary to take the CCC to the next level.
This results-oriented leader will demonstrate excellent problem solving and
interpersonal skills combined with a "roll up the sleeves" work ethic.
The successful candidate will possess: strong management
skills, a minimum of three years in a senior leadership role at a long-term care
facility, a Baccalaureate Degree in hospital management or related field (a
Master’s Degree is preferred); and, a California Nursing Home Administrator’s
Certificate (preferred). This professional will have the opportunity to manage,
direct and coordinate the daily operations of the Comprehensive Care Center.
Responsibilities of this position will include maintaining resident care
standards; and, compliance with District and facility policies, legal statutes
and California and Federal regulations.
