Director of Environmental Health and Safety for their 609-bed
flagship hospital. They are one of the most prestigious medical

In this highly visible position,
you will lead all activities related to Environmental Health and
Safety Management, developing and implementing best practices to
ensure a customer friendly department. This leader is expected to
work with a diverse constituency assessing potential risk, educating
individuals and proactively devising action plans when necessary to
ensure regulatory compliance and a safe environment. The
organization is looking for a dynamic professional that will develop
collaborative relationships with Employee Health, Risk Management,
Infection Control, Facilities and Construction departments.
The successful candidate
must be a team player, have a strong sense of integrity, be
approachable, and demonstrate a tremendous amount of enthusiasm,
energy, and passion. This professional must have a history building
effective relationships, along with proven leadership and
communication skills. The position also requires Acute Care
experience and a thorough understanding of all regulatory guidelines
such as DOH, EPA and OSHA as they relate to Safety and Environmental
Quality.
