The Synergy Organization has
been retained by a JCAHO accredited, financially stable, not for profit,
900-employee Home Health organization serving the DC, Baltimore and Northern VA
region. The VNA is now one of the largest providers of home care in the region
and they are ingrained in the community with a long, rich history of providing
quality care for over 100 years. The organization consists of Home Care and Home
Infusion Therapy divisions that include skilled nursing care, physical therapy,
speech therapy, occupational therapy, medical social work, nutrition counseling
and support for daily activities. The VNA is a wholly owned subsidiary of an
Integrated Health System providing financial viability and stability for the
future, as well as all the resources associated with being affiliated with one
of the leading Systems in the nation. Five of the Health System’s hospitals
were named "Best" in Nation by US News & World Report, and they
were also among the top in the nation in six specialty areas.
In this highly visible role, the President will establish the vision and
direction of the organization ensuring they remain at the forefront of the
industry and provide exceptional care. This leader will create marketing
strategies and new business development initiatives to expand the VNA’s
presence within the region to drive the revenue and overall profitability of the
very successful organization. In this mission critical position, the individual
will act as the advocate for home care at the corporate level and develop
relationships throughout the System to obtain the commitment and buy-in from
senior leadership at each of the eight facilities. The President will also have
the opportunity to mentor and develop the committed management team, create an
environment focused on achieving a high level of customer service, and continue
to expand the integration of technology throughout the organization.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong values, have passion and
enthusiasm, and foster commitment and accountability across the organization.
This proven leader must build relationships with a variety of personalities and
possess proven communication skills. This challenging position requires previous
Home Care experience and a history of achieving results.
