hospital located just minutes from the ocean and a popular vacation destination
in a very desirable area. The growing organization has been steadily investing
in technology, expanding services, and opening new centers such as their state-
of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Radiology
Suite. They are also better serving the community through an affiliation with
the University of Pennsylvania Health System that provides enhanced services in
their Cardiac program and better access to clinical trials available through
their Cancer program. In accordance with this "New Era in Healthcare"
transition, this exciting organization seeks a dynamic and experienced leader as
the their Director of Learning and Development.
In this highly visible, mission-critical position, you will drive the
development and delivery of all hospital wide learning. This individual will
collaborate with all the clinical departments, ancillary departments and
administration to ensure all employee development needs are being met for the
advancement of the organization’s growth and patient focused needs. In
response to identified needs, this leader will facilitate change at all levels
of the organization and promote a culture of ongoing education that ties
learning strategies to organizational performance. You will have the opportunity
to utilize e-learning systems, implement best practices in learning and
development and will have the resources necessary to succeed through a
continuing education endowment fund.
The successful candidate will have significant related experience in
Organizational Development, Leadership Development and Clinical Training. This
individual also must be creative, resourceful, a self-starter and highly skilled
at effective communication with a flexible style. An advanced degree in a
related field is required and experience in a hospital setting is strongly
preferred.
