Organization has been retained by a leading, rapidly growing and financially
strong national healthcare organization to recruit an experienced financial
leader as their new Director of Finance. Located
in Washington, D.C., this $12.5M not-for-profit organization seeks an
experienced, hands-on leader to provide leadership and oversight for all of
their finance and accounting functions.
The
new Director of Finance will assess the organization’s current strengths and
needs, and will have the opportunity to overhaul, create and implement more
effective and efficient processes and systems, develop a strong yet small
financial team in the future and be a business partner with their fellow senior
team members.
The successful
candidate must be a proven generalist with demonstrated project management
skills, have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting
(CPA and/or Masters Degree is preferred), 7-10 years experience in a
similar industry in a leadership role, a strong accounting background and
demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service and process
improvement.
